The AESC’s Gardner W. Heidrick Award is presented annually to an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the executive search consulting profession. Ulrich Dade, Chairman of Amrop, presented the 2011 award to Luiz Cabrera, a founding partner of Amrop Panelli Motta Cabrera in Brazil.

“These AESC awards honor distinguished members of the executive search profession who have made valuable contributions to the industry and their communities.” said Peter Felix, President of AESC. “Luiz has been instrumental in the professionalism and growth of the executive search industry in Brazil and Latin America, and has been very active in the governance of the AESC for many years. The AESC was pleased to be able to honor him at our conference.”

Luiz Cabrera, a member of Amrop’s Advisory Board and America’s Council, as well as the International Board of the AESC, is a professor at EAESP – FGV and at IBGC - the Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance. He was the Chairman of the Advisory Council of the 2010 CONARH congress, the annual meeting of the Brazilian Association of Human Resource Professionals (ABRH). Ulrich Dade, Amrop Chairman, commented, “Amrop is very proud of Luiz and his accomplishments. He is a highly valued member both of Amrop’s Advisory Board and of the broader executive search community, in Brazil and internationally. Luiz represents the best qualities of our business. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated excellence in delivering high quality executive search, in positioning Amrop as a tier one firm in Brazil, but also in setting the highest professional standards with his partners in such a promising emerging market. We commend the AESC for recognizing his valuable contributions over the past 30 years.“
