Amrop Announces New Management Board


Amrop, a global leader in Executive Search with 89 offices in 55 countries, announces its new Board of Directors, following its successful Annual General Assembly in Istanbul, Turkey.

Amrop welcomes Ms. Sabine von Anhalt (Germany), Ms. Preety Kumar (India) and Mr. Svein Ruud (Sweden) who were elected to the global Management Board.

“Sabine, Preety and Svein bring invaluable experience, knowledge and leadership to Amrop’s Board, built through many years of experience in executive search as well as in industry”, said Ulrich Dade, Amrop Chairman. “Their contributions to our global organization have been numerous, and we look forward to their continued work on behalf of our firms as we further build our global capabilities. Sabine von Anhalt is a Managing Partner of Amrop Delta in Germany. Her international career began at Schering AG, working in Germany, South Africa, Sweden, Norway and other global markets, where she gained important leadership experience early in her career. She then moved into strategy consulting within the Healthcare Practice of Deloitte Consulting, where she quickly discovered her passion for the ‘people side’ of the business. Consequently she found her way into executive searc and subsequently joined Amrop Delta in 2004. Today she is one of the leaders of Amrop’s Healthcare practice and supports other initiatives within the global Amrop organization. Sabine is involved in a number of cultural initiatives, and is a Board Member of the registered society of the largest Opera House in Berlin.

Preety Kumar is the founding Partner of Amrop India, and a recognized business leader in India. She has held senior management positions within Amrop globally as Asia Pacific Consumer Practice Leader. She has served on Global Task Forces for New Brand Development and Global Governance. Preety’s strong consulting experience ranges from board advisory, succession and assessment, apart from leading search consulting for top executive appointments. Preety serves as the Chairperson for the Task Force on Governance with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry. She also serves as an Independent Director on the Advisory Boards of Sanmar Group, The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) – A Nobel Peace prize holder for Climate change and Katha - a non-profit organization devoted to workshops, cooperatives and non-formal education centers.

Svein Ruud is Managing Partner of Amrop in Sweden, a leading player in the Swedish market. For the past twenty-five years he has served both public and private companies in numerous industries, and was a founding Partner of Nordic Search in Stockholm. Svein has a wealth of business experience from a variety of sectors, and has worked extensively with clients in Consumer Goods and Retail, Logistics, Industrial, Technology and Construction. He has previously held responsibility for Structural Design as well as Research globally within Amrop. Svein is a recognized business leader with a strong reputation for quality and business ethics.
