Amrop’s Chairman, Ulrich Dade, was interviewed recently in Expresso, Portugal’s most important business weekly, on the importance of international experience and global profiles when recruiting management teams. In particular, Mr. Dade highlighted commented that, “Companies gain in having more women and people of several nationalities in their administration,” and that young people starting their careers should “seek for international experience at the earliest stage possible and choose a world-class company.”

Mr. Dade was also interviewed by El Tiempo, Colombia’s most influential daily newspaper, during Amrop’s recent Latam Conference. In the article, “Lack of professionals to face the mining boom,” Mr. Dade commented on the challenge facing Colombian mining companies in fulfilling their growing talent requirements with local executives, adding that “the key to capture and retain the best talent is not only focused on the salary offer, but also in opportunities for professional growth.”
