Peter Gomez was previously Executive Vice President at a leading executive search firm; he was also the North America Diversity Practice Group Leader. His work spans across all industries and functional groups and is focused on creating inclusive recruiting and retention solutions for clients. Peter’s unique approach to search stems from his strong roots in the industry. His background has established him as a trusted leader and partner to his client. Peter co-founded LatinoExecs, Inc. in 2009. In addition to LatinoExecs, Peter has co-authored two thought leadership pieces: “Latinos in America” and “Retention Strategies At The Top”.
Prior to joining Amrop Battalia Winston, Susan Medina was Executive Vice President at a leading executive search firm based in Chicago. She was also the Global Diversity Practice Group Leader and a member of the Board & CEO Practice. Prior to executive search, Susan co-founded LatinoExecs, Inc., an organization focused on connecting clients with Latino executives within the Fortune 1000. Before LatinoExecs, Inc., Susan co-led the Life Sciences and Consumer Practice Groups at a Chicago-based executive search firm. Earlier in her career, she served in various HR/Talent Acquisition roles with a F500 organization focused on technology.
Mandeep Grewal joins the team in Canada with 10 years’ experience in the search industry. He is the Leader of the Real Estate Practice and is a member of the Financial Services Practice. Prior to joining Amrop Knightsbridge, he was a Client Partner at Korn/Ferry International’s Toronto office. Over the past 10 years, Mandeep has conducted searches in the following sectors: banking, insurance, real estate, private equity, and infrastructure. Mandeep holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from McMaster University and an MBA from York University. Mandeep is a member of the Toronto Board of Trade and is actively involved with Habitat for Humanity.
Alan Witherden focuses on developing new business across the entire African Continent, and has also taken over leadership of the Board Consulting Practice at Amrop South Africa. Alan previously spent ten years with PwC, where he was responsible for New Business Development and also led the Board Evaluation practice, which has equipped him with a deep understanding of Board dynamics and efficacy. Prior to PWC, Alan led Deloitte’s Executive placement division in South Africa. He has consulted widely to both the public and private sectors in South Africa, identifying solutions to complex business problems and then assembling cross-functional virtual teams to deliver client solutions. He also lectures at one of South Africa’s leading business schools on the role of Non-Executive Directors.
Daniel Lau joins Amrop in China with a strong background providing strategic and advisory consulting services to clients in various markets. Preciously, Daniel was Managing Partner of Odgers Berndtson China, engaging in senior searches for multinational and Chinese clients from a wide range of industry sectors including automotive, materials and equipment, natural resources and energy, food and beverages, packaging, consumer and retail. He was also advisor to their technology and life science practices. Before his consulting and executive search years, Daniel enjoyed a long and distinguished career with Shell. He held executive positions spanning general management, sales and marketing and contracts procurement management in Greater China and Canada.
Claire Jouffroy brings to Amrop RTA 11 years of experience in the executive search business. Claire advises her clients in their search for future leaders and Executive Board level positions. She serves a client base in the business and industrial services, B2B distribution, capital goods and manufacturing sectors. Claire started her career as a lecturer at an Ivy League University in the United States and later in France. She joined the management team of HEC in 1991 where she held several positions, including that of Corporate Relations and Placement Director. She was HR Director at KPMG Consulting before starting in executive search in 2001.
