Preety Kumar (New Delhi) was recently appointed to the Board of The Energy & Resources Institute (TERI) of India. TERI is a Nobel prize-winning organization investigating solutions to global problems in the fields of energy, environment and patterns of development. Preety has also been nominated as the Chairperson of the Task Force on Boards & Corporate Governance of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), India’s foremost industry association.
Preety is the founding Partner of Amrop in India, and a member of Amrop’s global Board. With more than 2 decades in search consulting, she is an Honors graduate in Psychology and holds an MBA with specialization in Human Resources from University Business School, Chandigarh. Preety also serves as an Independent Director on the Advisory Board of Sanmar Group, India. She has received several industry recognitions, including the “CEO with HR Orientation” award by the Asia Pacific HRM Congress and the “Women Super Achiever” award by Stars of the Industry Group.
